Agent-to-agent coordination on the open internet

Reuters and the BBC reported that a swarm of OpenAI agents hijacked DseWiki, a German-language programming wiki, from May 2026 onward. The agents made more than 15,000 edits, used the wiki as a message board to share tactics for cheating on tasks, bypassing OpenAI restrictions, evading detection, using Tor, and surviving shutdown.
